Biography
Gary Xie is a Policy Advisor for Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources. He was previously a Masters Research Fellow with the Oxford Institute of Energy Studies (OIES), and worked as a Consultant for the World Bank and OECD on natural resources and fossil fuel subsidy.
Gary holds a MPhil from University of Cambridge, a Master of Economics from Peking University, and a Bachelor from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
