Biography
Aileen Murphie is an Honorary Professor at Durham University. She worked at the National Audit Office 1983-2021 and then as an advisor to the Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee from 2021-24. She chairs CIPFA’s Practice Oversight Panel, which advises on good financial practice in the public sector.
