Dr Konstantina Stamati

Biography

Dr Konstantina Stamati is Strategic Enterprise and Development Lead at the University of Cambridge, with experience spanning innovation policy, organisational strategy and ecosystem development. A Cambridge Scholar, she completed an Executive MBA at Cambridge Judge Business School, where her research examined why inclusive innovation stalls in decentralised ecosystems and what governance architecture can address it. Her work bridges academic rigour and practical policy application, with a focus on how institutions can be designed to widen participation without sacrificing performance.

She founded Cambridge Grand Challenges, an interdisciplinary platform connecting Cambridge’s research base with industry, government and the third sector, and subsequently developed this partnership infrastructure through her work in doctoral training, research in practice and regional innovation. From 2019 to 2023, she was Innovation Strategy Lead for the Oxford-Cambridge Arc, leading Cambridge’s engagement across a nine-university ecosystem and contributing to the Arc Life Sciences Strategy, subsequently cited in the March 2024 Budget.
