Elise Antoine is an Assistant Professor at the Bennett School of Public Policy and teaches on the MPhil in Public Policy.
Elise’s research sits at the intersection of digital governance and public policy, examining how politics shape the governance of new technologies, and how those technologies, in turn, reshape policy processes.
Elise co-created x.Machina which is an open access archive of AI governance worldwide — every national strategy, regulatory framework, and policy instrument, tracked and analysed by leading academics.
She earned her PhD from King’s College London, where her research on the politics of internet privacy regulation was funded by the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (LISS-DTP). She also holds a Masters from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, France.
Prior to joining the Bennett School, Elise held a postdoctoral research position at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she taught on the MSc in Public Policy.
