Biography

Gita Aminpour is the Operations Coordinator at the Bennett School of Public Policy.  Among her duties are dealing with internal recruitment questions at the direction of the line manager, assisting with administrative matters, assisting the communications Coordinator with different projects, arranging meetings, proofreading and editing as required, and managing social events.

She has worked for the University of Cambridge through its Temporary Employment Service in a number of different departments, including Clinical Neurosciences and Toxicology in a variety of responsible roles, including as an HR Coordinator. She has worked as an Underwriter and for two major Lloyd’s of London insurance brokerage firms dealing with major clients. She has also worked in a senior role at the Bahá’í World Centre.

Gita serves in the capacity of a member of the Patient Advisory Group on a number of Working Groups for the upcoming Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital, as a Governor for 3 major schools in Cambridge, including as Vice-Chair and Safeguarding Governor, and is Vice-Chair of the Patient Participating Group Committee for a large surgery.

She studied at the London Metropolitan University (previously North London Polytechnic) for an HND in business and holds a professional qualification in insurance (ACII). She is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
