Biography
Sumedha Deshmukh is a researcher focusing on the economics and political economy of digital technologies. She works across academic and non-academic institutions, including Cambridge University, University College London, and ODI. Sumedha previously worked on multi-stakeholder technology policy initiatives at the World Economic Forum and in the newsroom of Devex. She is the author of dozens of articles and reports, presentations for international fora including the G20 and G7, Congressional testimonies, and regulatory comment letters. She holds a PhD from Cambridge University, an MPP from the University of Virginia, and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
