Burcu is a Research Assistant at the Bennett School of Public Policy. Her research focuses on labour economics, examining the drivers of productivity across sectors of the UK economy, with a particular focus on East Anglia, and the dynamics of the school-to-work transition.
Prior to joining the Institute, she worked on projects related to education policy, including school-to-work transitions and measuring skills mismatches in higher education, as well as strengthening data systems in the public sector.
Burcu holds an MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge.
